New Student Registration

Welcome to the South Western School District! We are honored that you are considering becoming a part of the South Western family. If you have recently moved to our area or your child is transferring schools, registration is required in order to attend. Please see below for instructions to register your child.

The 2023-2024 Grades 1 to 12 registration window opens on June 12, 2023.

Registration Process for South Western School District

To request a translator for assistance in completing the registration process and online application, please contact Dr. Eric Seibel, EL Coordinator at (717) 632-2548 x25900 or [email protected].

1. Submit the online registration application by clicking the Registration Login button on the left side of the screen.
   
   
   1. Access the Online Student Registration Instructions document below for directions to complete the online registration application.
      
      
   2. Please access and review the Required Registration Documents below before beginning. We recommend that you scan, save and submit each document with the online application.
      
      
2. The district registrar will contact you to schedule a registration appointment within 24 business hours of submitting the online registration application for a current school year enrollment. During the summer months, the registrar will contact you within 48 business hours due to the increased volume of registrations. Walk-in registrations will not be permitted.
   
   
3. Attend the scheduled registration appointment with the registrar.
   
   
   1. All original required registration documents must be presented at the registration appointment for verification.
      
      
4. After the registrar approves the registration, you will be contacted by a building representative of the school of enrollment.

Kindergarten Registration Process for the Following School Year

The 2024-2025 Kindergarten registration window is open from January 3, 2024 until May 30, 2024. More information can be found in the Registration Documents below.

Children are eligible for kindergarten at South Western School District upon reaching the age of five (5) on or before September 1 of the enrolled school year.
