The South Western School District operates according to policies established by the Board of School Directors. These policies provide a framework for the District's goals and vision while staying within the legal requirements set by the Federal, State and/or Local Government. The policies are adopted after careful consideration and a period of meetings and review.
The policies are divided into a numbering system/index (000, 100, 200, etc.) which is established by the state and is consistent across all school districts.
